When Starfire was going through her transformation, she was going through it's rarer form, known as "chrysalis." Unfortunately for Starfire, this form has it's own share of problems: not only does she grow quite hideous for a few days, but she's also the main desire for a species known as Chrysalis Hunter's. While this hunter was unsuccessful in eating Starfire, the Hunter itself was eaten by a piranha plant on the planet they were fighting on.
